Description

The PhD specialisation in Marketing focuses on developing doctoral students’ theoretical knowledge and methodological skills required to become successful researchers. We welcome applications from students with a strong background in disciplines such as business, economics, social psychology and statistics.

The Department of Marketing is a strong research department with several researchers who have published in top journals such as those found in the UT Dallas Journal Ranking and level 4* in the Academic Journal Guide. The department’s doctoral students are successful and have been placed at good international universities and business schools, such as Cass Business School, Grenoble Ecole de Management, Nanyang Technological University, University of Groningen, and Free University Amsterdam.

Requirements

Eligible applicants must have completed a Master of Science degree with thesis work, a research masters/M.Phil degree, or a comparable degree relevant for the specialisation in Marketing by the early autumn of 2021, with a grade point average of B or higher. An MBA degree does not fulfill the requirements for admission. Accepted applicants will be offered close supervision and follow-up by the research faculty.
