INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF A DOCTORAL RESEARCHER

Job Description
The objective of the MENTORING project is to develop a precision strategy that encompasses the genetic and phenotypic profile, glycómica, and proteomics of circulating extracellular vesicles, as well as inflammation modeling and immunological characteristics to implement personalized recommendations for cancer patients. Its main component will be the detailed study of the glycans of extracellular vesicles (glycomics) and proteins (proteomics) to identify and characterize the key factors modulating cancer metabolism, affecting the tumor microenvironment, inflammation, and immune response in cancer patients.

Requirements

Mandatory:

1. PhD in Life and Health Sciences or related areas;
2. Knowledge and practical experience in extracellular vesicles;
3. Knowledge and practical experience in proteomics, glycomics, and glycoproteomics;
4. Knowledge and practical experience in mass spectrometry data analysis.

Preferred:

• Experience and solid knowledge in oncobiology and glycobiology;
• Practical experience in ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and microscopy;
• Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication of research;
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Benefits
€2,351.53, corresponding to index 33 of the Unique Remuneration Table, aimed at doctors with reduced postdoctoral experience or without a postdoctoral scientific background.
