On 6 March, High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas will host the first Youth Policy Dialogue on EU Foreign Policy in Brussels. This event marks a step towards a more inclusive and youth-driven approach to the EU’s actions around the world.
The event will bring together 25 young individuals, aged 19-30, from diverse backgrounds and regions across the globe and the EU. These young community builders, who focus on human rights, global and climate diplomacy, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution, will have the opportunity to engage directly with the HR/VP on the European Union’s foreign policy priorities. The dialogue aims to foster an open exchange of ideas, allowing participants to share their insights, ask questions, and contribute to the shaping of global and foreign policy issues that resonate with their generation.
This inaugural dialogue with the HR/VP reflects the EU’s commitment to work with youth towards a more cohesive, resilient, and inclusive global community, anchored in the shared values of peace, democracy, human rights, and prosperity. By involving young people, the EU is taking a proactive step towards creating a future that reflects the aspirations and concerns of the next generation.
