Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a 
30-hour/week (part-time), temporary position at the Department of Work, Organizational, and Media Psychology

Duties of the position

  • Participation in a third-party funded research project (Linz Institute of Technology) on work-related stress research, in which psychological methods for stress prevention are combined with biopsychological methodology (endocrine and physiological stress parameters).
  • Working on your own dissertation project.
  • Inclusion in the tasks of the chair (including teaching)

Required selection criteria

  • Completed diploma/master’s degree in psychology
  • Interest in methods of biopsychological stress research
  • Good knowledge of statistics and methods
  • Experience in interpreting and evaluating objective stress markers is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written (German level C1, English level B2+)
  • Ability to work independently, high personal commitment, communication and cooperation skills (also interdisciplinary)

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
