Are you a young band or artist who wants to get your sound heard across Europe? The European Emerging Bands Contest is open and calling for fresh, talented European artists to take the stage at the European Youth Event (EYE) 2025! Enter now and it could be you performing live in Strasbourg (France), in front of 5000+ young Europeans, celebrating the diverse creativity and cultures from across the continent!

This contest offers a unique opportunity for solo artists and bands (up to 6 members) to showcase their talent and make their voices heard. If you’re selected, you’ll perform on the 13th and 14th of June 2025 at this iconic event, in front of the European Parliament. With travel and accommodation expenses fully covered by JM International, and a cash prize of €1000 per band and €500 per solo artist, this is an opportunity you simply can’t miss!

Why Participate?

EYE2025 is not just a concert; it’s a moment to shine. This massive gathering will bring together, thousands of young people from across Europe to connect, discuss, and celebrate Europe’s past, present and future. Your music could become the voice of a generation, and we’re looking for artists that aren’t afraid to talk about the issues affecting young people today.

How to Apply

Submitting your application is easy and accessible:

  • Head to Mubazar.com and apply online before midnight CET on April 13th, 2025.
  • Submit 2 to 5 songs in video format (YouTube or Vimeo) or audio format (.mp3).
  • Add 1 video of a live performance (YouTube or Vimeo) – optional.

Who Can Join?

The contest is open to young musicians aged 16-30, residing in:

  • EU member states
  • EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine)
  • EFTA members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)

Your music must be inclusive and accessible to a wide audience, and each band member must be under 30 years old.

The Prize

  • A 30-minute live performance at EYE2025 in front of thousands of young Europeans.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.
  • €1000 prize per band or €500 per solo artist.

How Will You Be Judged?

The juries will evaluate your application based on:

  1. Musical quality
  2. Originality
  3. Diversity in geography, genders, and musical styles
  4. Your contribution to raising awareness of major societal challenges.

Winners will be informed via email or phone by the end of April 2025
