The Representation in Spain of the European Commission and the Association of European Journalists, with the support of the information office of the European Parliament in Spain, call for the XXV edition of the European Journalism Prize “Salvador de Madariaga”.
The associations of journalists, the media, faculties and journalism centers and professionals in the humanities area can present candidates for each of the press, radio and television modalities from today until March 20, 2019 The reasoned proposals – see bases of the call to know the documentation they will have to provide – must be sent by certified mail or delivered by hand at the registered office of the European Commission Representation in Spain, at Paseo de la Castellana 46, 28046 Madrid.
Salvador de Madariaga Award
The aim of the “Salvador de Madariaga” Prize is to recognize the work of journalists in the Spanish media who, in the 5 years prior to the publication of this call, have contributed to the written press, radio and television- improve knowledge of European integration and European policies.
Jury of the Salvador de Madariaga Award
The Representation of the European Commission, in agreement with the Association of European Journalists, will appoint a jury composed of relevant personalities from the social and political spheres and the media.
