Título: Electronic monitoring and surveillance in the workplace. Literature review and policy recommendations
Resumen:Este informe reevalúa la bibliografía sobre la vigilancia/supervisión en el lugar de trabajo estándar, en el trabajo a domicilio durante la pandemia de COVID 19 y con respecto al trabajo en plataformas digitales. Se ha utilizado una metodología de revisión sistemática (véase el Apéndice I). Se identificaron, evaluaron y sintetizaron un total de 398 artículos. El informe concluye que las prácticas de vigilancia de los trabajadores se han ampliado para abarcar muchas características diferentes de los empleados mientras trabajan.
Summary:This report re-evaluates the literature about surveillance/monitoring in the standard workplace, in home working during the COVID 19 pandemic and in respect of digital platform work. It utilised a systematic review methodology (see Appendix I). A total of 398 articles were identified, evaluated and synthesised. The report finds that worker surveillance practices have extended to cover many different features of the employees as they work.
