Institute of Photonics, Electronics and Telecommunications offers PhD position in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe in ANCHOR project “Advanced Network Connectivity using Harmonious Optical and Radio Technologies”. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program under the MARIE SKŁODOWSKA-CURIE grant agreement no 101227604.
The research topic of doctoral thesis is Design and Experimental Validation of Photonics-Assisted THz and Analog Radio-over-Fiber Fronthaul Systems by Scientific supervisors professor Dr. sc. ing. OSKARS OZOLIŅŠ and professor PhD XIAODAN PANG.
Requirements
- The applicant must have MSc degree or equivalent in telecommunications, photonics, or electrical engineering.
- The applicant must not already be in possession of a doctoral degree at the date of the recruitment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- At the time of recruitment, the researcher must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in (host institute country) for more than 12 months in the three years immediately prior to the recruitment date. Compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not considered.
