Girls Go Circular is inviting female students and alumnae to explore the world of Cybersecurity and its potential to solve real-life societal challenges, and win a trip to attend the Women and Girls in STEM Forum 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.
Who can apply
- Schoolgirls aged 14-19 (with a teacher to guide them)
- Participants or alumni of the Girls Go Circular project
How to take part
- Participants need to work in teams of four girls and devise an effective cybersecurity awareness tool. They should start by underlining a specific issue or knowledge gap, such as poor password practices, phishing awareness, or the dangers of using public Wi-Fi.
- Students need to use the Design Thinking toolkit to shape their idea
- Record a 30-second video pitch in English and submit it by the deadline.
Prizes
The selected finalist team in each country will be invited to attend the Women & Girls in STEM Forum 2025 in Brussels this October.
Each group will be accompanied by a school teacher representative.
