The European Documentation Centre at the University of Almería is collaborating with the UAL Debating Society to organise the 4th UAL Indalo Debate and Public Speaking Tournament.
This year, the debate centres on the following question: “Are Spanish universities committed to the integration of people with disabilities beyond the requirements of European Union regulations?“. As usual, the tournament serves as a qualifier for the Spanish University Debate League (LEDU).
Following five qualifying rounds using the Swiss system, which matched teams of similar ability and ensured a balanced competition, plus an exciting final phase comprising the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, the ADR Indalo team emerged as the winner, followed by ADUSAL 1, one of the teams entered by the University of Salamanca.
The tournament took place entirely on the university campus on 27 and 28 February 2026.
