CEDEFOP, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, offers 10-month period of in-service training (stage) for young university graduates but also to PhD students, without excluding those who are at the beginning of a new professional career.
Timing and duration of traineeships
There is one trainee intake per year that lasts 12 months, starting in October.
For this intake, Cedefop offers 11 traineeships in the following areas:
Personal Data Protection
ICT Security & Information Systems Support
Communication, digital content, and campaigns
Dissemination of research results
Qualifications and credentials
ReferNet
VET policies and systems
Apprenticeships in work-based learning
Promoting inclusion in vocational education and training
Skills intelligence and foresight
Supporting the VET and Skills Statistics and Indicators
Applicants must
- Be nationals from EU Member States, Candidate Countries, or EFTA
- Not have already benefited from in-service training in another European institution or body.
- Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education, minimum EQF 6 level) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
- Have very good knowledge (C1) of at least 2 EU official languages, of which one should be English.
- Applications for in-service training must be submitted via the on-line application form.
Grants
- EUR 1,269.65 per month for trainees from abroad, as well as trainees residing in Greece and living more than 50 km from Thessaloniki.
- EUR 952.24 per month for trainees residing in Thessaloniki prior to the start of their traineeship.
