The European Parliament offers various traineeships in its Secretariat in order to contribute to the professional training of young citizens and to the understanding of the functioning of the institution. These traineeships have a duration of 5 months.
Eligible candidates must:
- be 18 years of age;
- hold a degree or degrees at university level
- have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the EU and a very good knowledge of another official language of the EU;
- have an admissible criminal record
- not have worked for more than two consecutive months in an EU institution or body
- you must not have completed a study visit to the European Parliament’s secretariat six months before the start of the traineeship.
Trainees receive a monthly allowance depending on their place of employment.
Candidates can apply for 3 internship offers per campaign.
Deadlines
- Application deadline: 1-31 October 2025, 23:59 (CEST) ( for the traineeship from 1 March to 31 July)
