Internships – ESN Call for Interns – Belgium

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN), Europe’s biggest student organisation, is looking for an intern in the area of Communication and Media, Digital Marketing and Policy to join their international office in Brussels, Belgium on 1st September 2025.

Requirements for the positions:

Communication and Media Intern

• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Background in communications, media, graphic design or similar;
• Familiar with the concepts of Social Media and online marketing;
• Good knowledge of Canva and Adobe software: Photoshop & InDesign are necessary, Illustrator is highly valued;
• Highly proactive attitude – not afraid of proposing changes and taking ownership of delegated tasks;
• Precise and organised way of working;
• Proficient user of Google Workspace;
• Capacity to work in a team as well as independently;
• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment;
• Knowledge of the Erasmus Student Network is a plus.

Digital Marketing Intern

• Bachelor’s degree, or in the way of getting one, in business management, marketing, communications, ICT, or something related;
• Fluent in both written and spoken English. Copywriting proficiency is considered a plus;
• Knowledge of Excel or any other spreadsheet is considered a plus, but it is not mandatory;
• Courses or other previous training on marketing-oriented data science/analytics, social media, marketing, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and Adsense and Photoshop or Canva are also a plus for your application, but not mandatory;
• Capacity for working in a team, as well as independently;
• Comfortable working in multicultural environmnent.

Two Policy Interns

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Interest and knowledge of EU affairs, policies and decision-making processes;
• Experience in a volunteer-led organisation;
• A structured and reliable way of working;
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and diverse environment;
• Highly proactive attitude. Not afraid of proposing changes and taking ownership of delegated tasks;
• Knowledge of ESN is a plus.

Funding

Up to 650 EUR per month plus transport costs within Brussels and Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance are covered.

The intern must have an Erasmus+ traineeship grant.
