On Friday 15 May, the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, was in Pristina on her first official visit to Kosovo. This visit underlines the EU’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s European perspective and the need for swift and decisive reforms to advance its European integration.
During the visit, Commissioner Kos met with Acting President Albulena Haxhiu and Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti to discuss the need to accelerate EU reforms, as well as to make the most of the opportunities offered by the Western Balkans Growth Plan.
The Commissioner also held talks with representatives of civil society, including women leaders from various sectors.
By reinforcing the EU’s unwavering support, this visit aimed to encourage further progress on Kosovo’s path towards European integration and to strengthen mutual commitment to shared priorities.
