The Digital Education Hackathon (DigiEduHack) is a grassroots movement that aims to foster innovation, collaboration and creativity and to drive positive change in digital education. It provides solutions to existing and future challenges in digital education.
Whether you’re a coding genius or have no tech skills, an experienced educator or a real newbie: if you’ve got a passion for digital education, we want YOU! We’re looking for creative minds from Europe and every corner of the globe to help us tackle today’s challenges in digital education.
DigiEduHack is an initiative of the Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027 of the European Commission.
How does it work?
It’s a series of 24-hour grassroots local hackathons taking place from 8-17 November 2024. Whether in Europe or around the globe, participants come together to create solutions to diverse digital education-related challenges.
Who can join?
Anyone with a passion for digital education, regardless of age or experience. You can sign in online individually, with an existing team or you can form your own team.
How it works
- Choose a challenge: tackle a problem in areas like accessibility, personalisation, or sustainability.
- Create your solution: work with your team to develop innovative ideas and build prototypes.
- Compete for prizes: showcase your project and compete for awards in categories like social impact and disruptive technology.
