The European Commission wants to hear the views of young Europeans. As part of this initiative, Maria Luís Albuquerque, Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investment Union, is organising a two-hour conversation with young people from across the European Union.
The topic of the dialogue will be financial management skills, as they are interested in hearing your views on the knowledge and tools young Europeans need to manage their financial future and how they can best support the learning of these skills. Your ideas will contribute to the Commission’s ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy in the EU, in line with its strategy adopted in September 2025.
Requirements:
- EU citizens.
- Young people aged 18 to 30.
- High level of English.
How to participate:
- Record a one-minute video answering this question: “Why do you think it is important for young people to learn about money?”
- Send your video via (Dropbox, Google Drive or YouTube) toeu-finance@ec.europa.euwith your contact details and nationality.
- Your video is for selection purposes only and will not be published by the Commission.
Prizes
- The 15 winners will fly to Brussels for the dialogue on 30 April 2026.
- Travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered.
