To mark the UAL’s Welcome Day, the European Documentation Centre is organising, for the second year running and after the success of the first session, a talk and discussion session led by Manolo Sola, head of the Eurodesk European youth information office in Purchena.
The talk, entitled ‘What’s in it for you after university in Europe (or before or during)?’, aims to inform students about Erasmus, the European Solidarity Corps (formerly known as the European Voluntary Service) and other European programmes for young people.
The talk, lasting around 60–90 minutes, will be given by Manolo Sola, librarian and youth officer at Purchena Town Council, and will cover the Erasmus programme, the European Solidarity Corps and other European programmes of interest to university students: youth exchanges, DiscoverEU, EURES (for working in other countries)…, with a focus on the participation of young people with fewer opportunities. Information will also be provided on the resources and organisations that can support and advise young people on taking part in these programmes.
The talk will take place on 8 October 2026 in the A. Díaz Toledo lecture theatre in the Humanities Building C, from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
