El Resumen Ejecutivo ofrece una visión general de la Estrategia del CCI para sus Actividades Nucleares, presentando las nueve Acciones Clave y los principales temas que informaron la creación de la estrategia.

El documento de referencia sobre las mejores técnicas disponibles (BREF) para la industria textil forma parte de una serie de documentos que presentan los resultados de un intercambio de información entre los Estados miembros de la UE, las industrias interesadas, las organizaciones no gubernamentales que promueven la protección del medio ambiente y la Comisión, con el fin de elaborar, revisar y, en su caso, actualizar los documentos de referencia sobre las mejores técnicas disponibles, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 13, apartado 1, de la Directiva 2010/75/UE sobre las emisiones industriales (la Directiva).

LIFE tiene experiencia en ayudar a ecologizar el sistema alimentario europeo. Estos conocimientos son vitales, ya que el sistema actual se ve afectado por el cambio climático y es uno de sus motores. También provoca escasez de recursos, contaminación, residuos, degradación medioambiental, pérdida de biodiversidad y malnutrición. A través de más de 200 proyectos medioambientales y climáticos, el Programa LIFE contribuye a la transición hacia un sistema alimentario justo, sostenible, sano y respetuoso con el medio ambiente, componentes clave de la Estrategia de la UE «De la granja a la mesa».

Water policy and management needs to take into account and integrate different water uses and the protection of water resources and aquatic ecosystems. Better policy is based on best scientific and technical knowledge. The availability of scientific knowledge is key to integrate environmental, agricultural and other sectoral policy objectives, as required by the Green Deal through the Zero Pollution and the Farm to Fork Strategy. The objective of the Knowledge Hub for Water (https://water.jrc.ec.europa.eu/) is to provide scientific evidence, data and web tools developed in JRC projects to support EU water policy and its integration with other sectoral policies, such as agriculture, energy, climate, with a focus on environmental and health protection, as required by the EU Green Deal.

The European Court of Auditors examined the performance of the spending programmes under the EU budget at the end of 2021, based on performance information from the Commission and other sources, including its own recent audit and review work. The main theme of this year’s report on performance is the mainstreaming of horizontal policy priorities into the EU budget. It assessed whether they had been incorporated in selected EU spending programmes, and whether the Commission applied an appropriate performance framework to measure the EU budget’s contribution for such priorities.
