Título: The fiscal implications of the clean energy transition
Resumen:Este informe forma parte de un estudio más amplio sobre la "Macroeconomía de la Unión Energética", realizado para la Comisión Europea (DG de Energía). El estudio tiene por objeto mejorar las herramientas de modelización macroeconómica (concretamente, E3ME y GEM-E3) utilizadas por la Comisión para fundamentar su toma de decisiones en torno a temas relacionados con la transición energética. Este informe se centra en las mejoras del modelo y en el análisis relacionado con la representación de los impuestos energéticos y tiene tres objetivos.
Summary:This report is part of a wider study on the “Macroeconomics of the Energy Union”, delivered for the European Commission (DG Energy). The study aims to improve the macroeconomic modelling tools (namely, E3ME and GEM-E3) used by the Commission to inform its decision-making around topics related to the energy transition. This report focuses on model improvements and analysis that relate to the representation of energy taxes and has three objectives.
