Teniendo en cuenta la volátil situación socioeconómica actual, combinada con diversas megatendencias en juego, es indispensable contar con redes de seguridad sólidas para la cohesión de nuestras sociedades y para ayudar a los necesitados. Es evidente que la consecución del nuevo objetivo europeo de reducir en al menos 15 millones el número de personas en riesgo de pobreza o exclusión social en la UE para 2030 requerirá más esfuerzos
Summary:The first joint report of the Social Protection Committee and the European Commission on minimum income arrives at a crucial moment for social Europe. Considering the current volatile socio-economic situation combined with various megatrends at play, solid safety nets are indispensable for the cohesion of our societies and for assisting those in need. It is evident that achieving the new European target of a reduction by at least 15 million of the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the EU by 2030 will require more efforts
