Título: Judicial use of information following the debriefing of migrants at external borders
Resumen:Una encuesta realizada entre los miembros del grupo focal de fiscales y jueces de instrucción que luchan contra el tráfico de migrantes (el grupo focal) y los debates mantenidos durante la reunión virtual de Eurojust sobre el tráfico de migrantes (12 de noviembre de 2020) ayudaron a identificar varios temas de importancia para los profesionales activos en este ámbito. Sobre esta base, la Agencia de Cooperación en materia de Justicia Penal de la Unión Europea (Eurojust) seleccionó para un análisis más profundo el tema del uso judicial de la información tras el interrogatorio de los migrantes en las fronteras exteriores.
Summary:A survey among the members of the focus group of prosecutors and investigative judges fighting migrant smuggling (the focus group) and discussions during the Eurojust virtual meeting on migrant smuggling (12 November 2020) helped to identify several topics of relevance to practitioners active in this area. On this basis, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) selected for further analysis the topic of judicial use of information following debriefing of migrants at external borders.
