Título: Exchanges of personal data after the Schrems II Judgment
Resumen:Este estudio, encargado por el Departamento de Política de Derechos de los Ciudadanos y Asuntos Constitucionales del Parlamento Europeo a petición de la Comisión LIBE, examina las reformas del marco jurídico para el intercambio de datos personales y de otro tipo entre la UE y los EE.UU. que serían necesarias para garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos de la legislación de la UE y el respeto de los derechos de los ciudadanos de la UE, tras la sentencia Schrems II del Tribunal de Justicia de la UE.
Summary:This study, commissioned by the European Parliament’s Policy Department for Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs at the request of the LIBE Committee, examines reforms to the legal framework for the exchange of personal and other data between the EU and the USA that would be necessary to ascertain that the requirements of EU law are satisfied and that the rights of EU citizens are respected, following the Schrems II judgment of the EU Court of Justice.
