Resumen:Luxemburgo es una democracia representativa parlamentaria dirigida por un monarca constitucional, el Gran Duque. La Constitución data de 18681 y fue modificada por última vez en 2016. Organiza una separación de poderes entre el ejecutivo (el Gran Duque y el Gobierno) y el legislativo (el Parlamento), y el poder judicial vela por la ejecución de las leyes. El principio de igualdad entre hombres y mujeres tiene valor constitucional desde 2006, cuando se introdujo en el artículo 11.2 de la Constitución.
Summary:Luxembourg is a parliamentary representative democracy headed by a constitutional monarch, the Grand-Duke. The Constitution dates back to 18681 and was last amended in 2016. It organises a separation of powers between the executive (the Grand-Duke and the Government) and the legislative (the Parliament), with the judiciary watching over the execution of laws. The principle of equality between men and women has had a constitutional value since 2006, when it was introduced in Article 11(2) of the Constitution.
