Título: Clean Energy Technology Observatory, Renewable fuels of non-biological origin in the European Union. Status report on technology development, trends, value chains and markets : 2022
Resumen:Este informe investiga el estado actual y la tendencia de los combustibles renovables de origen no biológico (RFNBO), excepto el hidrógeno, que son necesarios para cubrir parte de la demanda de combustibles renovables de la UE en los próximos años. La mayoría de las tecnologías de conversión investigadas aquí ya han sido probadas a escala de demostración gracias al apoyo financiero de los proyectos financiados por la UE, y el actual marco legislativo de la UE en virtud de la refundición de la Directiva sobre energías renovables (UE) 2018/2001 ya establece objetivos específicos y actos delegados para su uso.
Summary:This report investigates the current status and trend of Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO), except hydrogen, which are needed to cover part of the EU’s demand renewable fuels in the coming years. Most of the conversion technologies investigated here have been already tested at demonstration scale thanks to the financial support of EU-funded projects, and the current EU legislative framework under the recast of the Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001 already set specific targets and delegated acts for their use.
