Resumen:Un número creciente de empresas europeas ya ha cambiado su mentalidad y, más allá de los aspectos estrictamente empresariales, ahora también tienen en cuenta los aspectos medioambientales y sociales en sus operaciones diarias. Para que la transición a la economía verde sea un éxito, la UE debe ofrecer condiciones equitativas a sus empresas, impulsando la competitividad y la inversión. Estas son algunas de las conclusiones de la conferencia "Business for Climate Neutral Europe - making the most of the SDGs and the Green Deal" (Empresas por una Europa climáticamente neutra: sacar el máximo partido a los ODS y al acuerdo ecológico) que tuvo lugar el 9 de marzo en Split (Croacia).
Summary:A growing number of European companies have already changed their mind-set and, over and above the strictly business aspects, are now taking environmental and social aspects into consideration as well in their daily operations. To make the transition to a green economy a success, the EU needs to provide a level playing field for its companies, boosting competitiveness and investment. These are some of the conclusions of the conference on Business for Climate Neutral Europe – making the most of the SDGs and the Green Deal that took place on 9 March in Split, Croatia.
