The MEDIA programme has supported European audiovisual content for the past 35 years, promoting cultural diversity and improving the industry’s competitiveness. The success of the MEDIA programme paves the way for the AgoraEU programme proposed in the EU’s long-term budget for 2028–2034, which aims to continue supporting the audiovisual sector.
