The Renzo Imbeni Summer School is back from 1-6 September 2025, in Modena, Italy. This year’s theme: “Europe 2025: From Utopia to Necessity.” The course is limited to 30 participants and provides them the opportunity to explore critical European challenges.
Who can apply
EU citizens or EU accession/candidate country nationals who graduated (Master’s or equivalent) awarded no more than 36 months before the deadline of this call You should have a degree in economics, law, social/political science, or humanities, with coursework in EU/international law, European languages/cultures, or European history/economy.
Language Skills
You need at least a B1 level of Italian and English.
Participation
You must attend at least 90% of the course to be eligible for the traineeship scholarships.
Costs covered
Free accommodation and meals during the course. Travel costs to Modena are your responsibility.
There is also a participation fee of 150 euros for selected participants.
Scholarships
At the end of the course, two €5,000 scholarships will be awarded for a traineeship at the European Parliament in Brussels during the first half of 2026.
