Eurocities, the network of major European cities, is hiring a trainee to join the Brussels-based team for 6 months and work on topics related to migration and integration, exciting EU-funded projects, research, events and policy activities with cities across Europe.
Tasks
- Support the implementation of meetings and events
- Help gather and analyse data and city good practices, and turn them into briefing notes and reports
- Monitor EU and local developments on migration, integration and social inclusion
- Provide practical project support (minutes, reporting, outreach to city members and partners)
- Contribute to web and social media updates and other comms tasks
Eligibility requirements
- Have a university degree: ideally linked to migration, diversity and inclusion, human geography, sociology or political studies
- Have some experience in migration/integration (including voluntary roles)
- Communicate clearly in English (other languages are a plus)
