On 20 March 2026, the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia published the Resolution of 6 March 2026 issued by the General Secretariat for External Action and the European Union, announcing the call for applications for training and specialisation grants on the European Union and external action.
These grants are designed to provide young people with university qualifications with experience in the areas of the European Union and external action – which fall within the remit of the General Secretariat for External Action and the European Union of the Regional Ministry of Tourism and Andalusia Abroad – thereby facilitating their subsequent entry into the labour market.
Number of grants
A total often grants are available, distributed as follows:
- Training and specialisation grants on the European Union and External Action in Seville:
- Number of scholarships: 7
- Duration: 12 months
- Gross value of each scholarship: €14,150.00
- Training and specialisation grants on the European Union and External Action at the Delegation of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Brussels:
- Number of scholarships: 3
- Duration: 12 months
- Gross value of each scholarship: €19,400.00
Requirements
- Applicants must be nationals of Spain or of a Member State of the European Union and must be resident in, or have been born in, any of the municipalities of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (including the cases provided for in Article 5.2 of the Statute of Autonomy of Andalusia).
- Not have been dismissed from the civil service of any public administration following disciplinary proceedings.
- Not be over 35 years of age.
- Official university qualification (Official Bachelor’s Degree, Official Master’s Degree, Doctorate or Bachelor’s Degree, where applicable).
- Specific training: This shall be demonstrated by one of the following:
- A university degree related to the subject of the scholarship, which, where applicable, may coincide with the degree cited as a qualification requirement.
- A course of at least 40 hours on the subject of the scholarship.
- Work placements lasting at least one month in the subject area of the scholarship.
- Subjects from the programme of the degree claimed as a qualification requirement, related to the subject of the scholarship.
- Languages:
- For scholarships based at the General Secretariat for External Action and the European Union, in Seville: One language, English or French, at Level B2 or above.
- For grants based at the Delegation of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Brussels: Two languages, English and French, at Level B2 or above.
Benefits
Scholarships in Seville:
- €19,400 gross
- €1,100 per month (12 months)
- €950 extra for incidental expenses
Scholarships in Brussels:
- €14,150 gross
- €1,500 per month (12 months)
- An additional €1,400 for incidental expenses
The relevant Social Security contribution will be deducted from each monthly payment.
Application deadline
The deadline is20 working daysfrom the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA). That is, from 23 March 2026 to 21 April 2026.
