Resumen:En los últimos años, el Fondo Social Europeo ha dado una respuesta sustancial a la crisis. Sin embargo, a finales de 2021, la ejecución ha continuado a un ritmo estable y los logros del fondo también han aumentado. El reto será comprometer los recursos adicionales, en particular el presupuesto REACT-UE, y garantizar que se llega a los beneficiarios finales. Tras la respuesta contra el COVID, en particular la importante financiación adicional de REACT-UE, los programas del FSE ascienden ahora a 142 900 millones de euros (UE + parte nacional), de los cuales 104 800 millones son financiados por la Unión Europea. La Iniciativa de Empleo Juvenil (IEJ) asciende a otros 4 500 millones de euros. Esto supone un aumento de 16 900 millones en total en comparación con la financiación inicial.
Summary:In recent years, the European Social Fund has provided a substantial crisis response. Nevertheless, by end of 2021, implementation has continued at a stable pace and the fund’s achievements have also increased. The challenge will be committing the additional resources, in particular REACT-EU budget and ensuring that end-beneficiaries are reached. Following the anti-COVID response, in particular the substantial additional funding from REACT EU, ESF programmes now amount to EUR 142.9 billion (EU + national share), of which 104.8 billion is financed by the European Union. The Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) amounts to a further 4.5 billion euros. This means an increase of 16.9 billion altogether compared to the initial funding.
