Resumen:La EU-OSHA contribuye a hacer de Europa un lugar de trabajo más seguro, saludable y productivo. Creada por la Unión Europea en 1994 y con sede en Bilbao (España), la agencia investiga, desarrolla y distribuye información fiable, equilibrada e imparcial sobre seguridad y salud, al tiempo que trabaja en red con organizaciones de toda Europa para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo. La EU-OSHA también lleva a cabo campañas de lugares de trabajo saludables, respaldadas por las instituciones de la UE y los interlocutores sociales europeos y coordinadas a escala nacional por la red de puntos focales de la agencia. La campaña 2023-2025 "Trabajo seguro y saludable en la era digital" pretende concienciar sobre el impacto de las nuevas tecnologías digitales en el trabajo y los lugares de trabajo y los retos y oportunidades asociados en materia de seguridad y salud en el trabajo.
Summary:EU-OSHA contributes to making Europe a safer, healthier and more productive place to work. Set up by the European Union in 1994 and based in Bilbao, Spain, the agency researches, develops and distributes reliable, balanced and impartial safety and health information, while networking with organisations across Europe to improve working conditions. EU-OSHA also runs Healthy Workplaces Campaigns, backed by the EU institutions and the European social partners and coordinated at the national level by the agency’s network of focal points. The 2023–2025 campaign ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ aims to raise awareness about the impact of new digital technologies on work and workplaces and the associated occupational safety and health challenges and opportunities.
