Your project consortium must include at least one Korean and one Spanish company. Participation of research institutes\/universities and other organizations is welcome as self-funded participants or subcontractors according to each country\u2019s funding regulations. Organisations from other countries may also participate, but they will not be funded by CDTI or by KIAT.<\/p>\n<h4>Timeframe<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>14 February 2022 Call opens<\/li>\n<li>28 April 2022 Submission deadline (international)<\/li>\n<li>13 May 2022 Full Project Proposals Submission deadline (National)<\/li>\n<li>November 2022 Eureka Label<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Scope<\/h4>\n<p>This project call is for R&amp;D projects focusing on developing innovative products and applications in all technological and market areas. Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or projects which have strong market potential for Republic of Korea and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Although this call invites projects in ALL thematic areas or application domains, special focus is given to the following domains (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bio including Health<\/li>\n<li>Green technologies, including Energy<\/li>\n<li>Smart city and Transportation<\/li>\n<li>Information and Communication technologies<\/li>\n<li>Nanotechnology and Material<\/li>\n<li>New Production technologies<\/li>\n<li>Aerospace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Address at least one of the fields mentioned in the call description, and<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the potential to research or develop a product, process or service for commercialization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Eligibility<\/h4>\n<p>Eureka has limited eligibility criteria for organisations participating in a Network project consortium:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your project idea must represent international cooperation in the form of a specific project.<\/li>\n<li>The project must be directed at researching or developing an innovative product, process or service with the goal of commercialisation.<\/li>\n<li>The project must have a civilian purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Your consortium must include at least one Korean and one Spanish company. Participation of research institutes\/universities and other organizations is welcome as self-funded participants or subcontractors according to each country\u2019s funding regulations. Organizations from other countries may also participate, but they will not be funded by CDTI or by KIAT.<\/li>\n<li>No single organisation or country can be responsible for more than 70% of the project budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This call for projects has additional criteria for organisations to be eligible to receive funding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Korean and Spanish partners must express their will to cooperate to the development of a new product, industrial process or service. The product, process or service must be innovative and there must be a technological risk involved.<\/li>\n<li>The project should have an obvious advantage and added value resulting from the technological cooperation between the participants from the countries (e.g. increased knowledge base, commercial leads, access to R&amp;D infrastructure etc.)<\/li>\n<li>The project should demonstrate the contribution of all participants and the project must be significant to them.<\/li>\n<li>The participants are required, prior to obtain the Eureka label, to have signed a consortium agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KIAT has additional criteria for Korean organisations to be eligible to receive funding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Company (private enterprise) should lead the Korean consortium.<\/li>\n<li>Korean company should be in operation for more than 1 year after the establishment, and the company is required to have &#8216;corporate R&amp;D center certification&#8217; issued by the Korean Government (Korea Industrial Technology Association).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CDTI has additional criteria for Spanish organisations to be eligible to receive funding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company (private enterprise) should lead the Spanish consortium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekanetwork.org\/open-calls\/network%20projects%20korea%20spain%202022\">More information: Eureka Open Calls<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The national funding bodies from Korea and Spain have allocated funding for organisations collaborating on international R&amp;D projects.
