The data for this article have been obtained from several official sources (Johns Hopkins University, Reuters, WHO&#8230;), concerning the incidence of diagnosed cases and deaths due to the COVID-19 virus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In November, Europe ended with a total of <strong>87,859,651 diagnosed cases<\/strong> and <strong>1,551,873 deaths<\/strong> due to COVID-19. No obstante, en noviembre <strong>Alemania<\/strong> fue el pa\u00eds con mayor incidencia media diaria, contando con <strong>165.889<\/strong>. Seguidamente est\u00e1n <strong>Reino Unido<\/strong> y <strong>Rusia<\/strong> con <strong>151.609<\/strong> y <strong>141.183<\/strong> casos medios diarios diagnosticados respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>According to the table, the country with the highest average daily diagnosed cases in <strong>October<\/strong> was the <strong>United Kingdom<\/strong> with <strong>166,090<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Russia (129,019)<\/strong> and <strong>Turkey (113,531)<\/strong>. However, in <strong>November<\/strong> <strong>Germany<\/strong> was the country with the highest average daily incidence, with <strong>165,889<\/strong>. As can be seen, <strong>Russia, Ukraine<\/strong> and <strong>Romania<\/strong> were the countries with the highest average incidence of deaths in both months.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flourish-embed flourish-chart\" data-src=\"visualisation\/8128614\"><script src=\"https:\/\/public.flourish.studio\/resources\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>14-day cumulative incidence<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cumulative incidence<\/strong> indicates the spread of a disease in a population and in a given time. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isciii.es\/InformacionCiudadanos\/DivulgacionCulturaCientifica\/DivulgacionISCIII\/Paginas\/Divulgacion\/DivulgacionInformeTerminosEpidemiologiaCoronavirus.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Instituto de Salud Carlos III<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong> it is calculated by dividing the number of cases appearing in a period by the number of people free of the disease at the beginning of the period. In this case, the number of people established was <strong>100,000 inhabitants<\/strong>. El pa\u00eds anteriormente mencionado, se encuentra en un nivel de alerta de <strong>riesgo alto<\/strong> debido a que su incidencia acumulada est\u00e1 comprendida entre 150 y 250.<\/p>\n<p>As can be seen, most of the countries (except the Netherlands) are at a <strong>maximum risk alert level<\/strong> because their cumulative incidence is greater than 250.
