These traineeships are awarded for a period of five months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Eligible candidates should:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>be aged 18+;<\/li>\n<li>hold a university level diploma(s);<\/li>\n<li>have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the EU and a very good knowledge of another official language of the EU;<\/li>\n<li>provide an eligible criminal record;<\/li>\n<li>not have worked for more than two consecutive months within an EU Institution or body;<\/li>\n<li>not have carried out a study visit in the secretariat of the European Parliament six months prior the beginning of the traineeship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interns\u00a0receive a montly\u00a0allowance depending on\u00a0the places of assignment.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates can apply for 3 traineeship offers per campaign.<\/p>\n<h3>Traineeship dates and deadlines<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For the 1 October- 28\/29 February traineeship &#8211; Application period: 1 June &#8211; 30 June.<\/li>\n<li>For the 1 March- 31 July traineeship &#8211; Application period: 1 November \u2013 30 November.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications submitted after the deadline or spontaneous applications cannot be considered.<\/p>\n<h3>More information<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/programmes.eurodesk.eu\/internships#62541\">EURODESK<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Parliament offers different traineeships within its Secretariat in order to contribute to the vocational training of young citizens, and to the understanding of the working of the institution.
