{"id":71503,"date":"2021-05-26T03:00:39","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T01:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/?p=71503"},"modified":"2021-09-10T11:32:16","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T09:32:16","slug":"european-youth-week-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/european-youth-week-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"European Youth Week 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content clearfix\">\n<header>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/european.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-71508\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/european.jpg\" alt=\"European Youth Week 2021\" width=\"618\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/european.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/european-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/european-768x384.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>From May 24 to 30, under the slogan &#8220;Our Future in Our Hands&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The European Youth Weeks (EYW) are organized every two years and allow young people to learn about the opportunities offered by the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>These meetings encourage debate on topics relevant to society in order to hear young people&#8217;s opinions and increase their participation.<\/p>\n<p>During the EYW, informative or training sessions and days, talks and workshops both face-to-face and online, specific activities at association fairs, etc. are organized.<\/p>\n<p>After the last European Youth Week held in 2019, this edition will be held from May 24 to 30 and has as its theme &#8220;<strong>Our Future in Our Hands&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among other topics, during this SEJ, active participation in society, including its digital dimension; inclusion and diversity; climate change, environmental protection and sustainability; health and recovery will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, this edition of the SEJ will serve as a platform to raise awareness of the new EU programs for youth 2021-2027: <strong>the new Erasmus + and the European Solidarity Corps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Eurodesk Spain<\/strong> points have thrown themselves into the organization of this great biennial meeting by scheduling almost 50 events of all kinds.
