{"id":62251,"date":"2021-02-16T03:00:20","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T02:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/?p=62251"},"modified":"2021-09-15T12:29:35","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T10:29:35","slug":"efta-financial-mechanism-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/efta-financial-mechanism-office\/","title":{"rendered":"Traineeship at EFTA Financial Mechanism Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) which administers the EEA Grants and Norway Grants on behalf of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, offers 12\u00a0months-traineeships, from 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0September 2021\u00a0&#8211; 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0August 2022,\u00a0to nationals of the EEA EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway).<br \/>\nException\u00a0is given to applicants for the Roma Trainee position: this position is open to nationals of the EEA EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway)\u00a0and to nationals of the EU Member States.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/chart-2785979_1920.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-62252\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/chart-2785979_1920.jpg\" alt=\"EFTA Financial Mechanism Office\" width=\"484\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/chart-2785979_1920.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/chart-2785979_1920-300x164.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The trainees will be assigned to a\u00a0specific department\u00a0of the FMO according to academic field of specialisation, personal preferences and career objectives:<br \/>\n&#8211; Legal Affairs,<br \/>\n&#8211; Finance and Control,<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Administration and Human Resources,<br \/>\n&#8211; Communication,<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Grants Management Systems (IT),<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Results and Evaluation,<br \/>\n&#8211; Priority Sectors,<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Funds and Horizontal Concerns: Civil Society,<br \/>\n&#8211; Funds and Horizontal Concerns: Roma Inclusion,<br \/>\n&#8211; Country\u00a0and Bilateral Cooperation.<br \/>\nCandidates need to specify their field of work when applying.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible applicants should:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Have a master\u2019s\u00a0degree in law, economics,\u00a0statistics, political science, international relations,\u00a0business administration, computer science or\u00a0other relevant and equivalent degree.\u00a0Candidates with a Bachelor\u2019s degree and relevant experience (job experience, volunteering) may in exceptional circumstances be considered.
