The FOCUS program has been underway since 2010 and it aims to provide early diagnosis of infections such as HIV and Hepatitis C in hospitals and health centers. This is a fundamental program since it means a significant progress at hospital level. Moreover, it will help detect the virus in patients who do not know that they have the virus. Therefore, ensuring a better prognosis and providing the appropriate treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The Torrec\u00e1rdenas Hospital has been the only one chosen for this program within Andalusia, being, precisely, the first one to carry out an innovative process with the purpose of ending this viral infection.
