This year the focus will be on putting political activism on the table for 2000 young people in Europe through the topic \u201cEurope on Track 8: Change is within YOUth! All aboard the Activism Express\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/eutrack.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-55675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/eutrack.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/eutrack.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/eutrack-300x164.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Six ambassadors\u00a0in 3 teams\u00a0will travel by train across 21\u00a0cities in Europe during one month to deliver workshops, interview young people and organise events in cooperation with 200 volunteers.\u00a0Moreover, 2 online ambassadors will carry out online workshops in the same period to reach out to even more youth all over the continent!<\/p>\n<p>The 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition will take place from 8<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>April to 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0May 2021.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Aged between 18 and 30 years old<\/li>\n<li>Applicants from all over the world but European-based candidates are strongly encouraged<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible, committed and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Be open-minded, proactive and initiative-taker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to apply<\/h3>\n<p>For the first round: fill in\u00a0the\u00a0form\u00a0before\u00a0<strong>22 November 2020,<\/strong>\u00a023:59h (CET)\u00a0which consists of 5 parts:<br \/>\n1 &#8211; Personal Data<br \/>\n2 &#8211; Why do you want to become an ambassador?<br \/>\n3 &#8211; Motivation on the topic of Political Activism \u201cChange is within YOUth: all aboard the Activism Express!\u201d<br \/>\n4 &#8211; Skills and requirements<br \/>\n5 &#8211; Travel Experience<\/p>\n<p>Pre-selected online ambassador\u00a0will be invited to the second round which consists of a video call with the Project Team and will be informed about the results before the end of 2020.<br \/>\nFor pre-selected\u00a0offline ambassador, the second round will consists of a video call with the Project Team (to take place by the end of November\/beginning of December) and a final third round in the form of a group Q&amp;A session in December.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Role of the\u00a0ambassadors<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To deliver workshops, interview young people, and meet with local stakeholders and political representatives in each of the cities they visit<\/li>\n<li>Throughout the journey, to prepare written (e.g. blog posts) and graphic (e.g. pictures and videos) material for the social media and external channels of Europe on Track.<\/li>\n<li>At the end, to carry out an evaluation to help out with measuring the impact of the project<\/li>\n<li>To participate in an online conference which will take place after the end of the journey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Covered expenses for (physical) ambassadors:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Transportation during the route<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation and food in each stop<\/li>\n<li>Your trip from home to the training location and from the evaluation location back home can be reimbursed under certain conditions<\/li>\n<li>All activities related to the project and local transportation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Not covered<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Visa fees \u2013 the team will try to lower the costs by providing you with invitation letters<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Pocket money \u2013 based on previous experiences, an amount of 200\u20ac (+\/- depending on personal spending habits) will be necessary for the trip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Europe on Track\u00a0takes place from 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0April to 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0May.<br \/>\nIt will start with a training session for ambassadors in Budapest, Hungary (8-16\u00a0April 2020).<br \/>\nThen the routes will take place between 16<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>April to\u00a02<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0May.
