{"id":48921,"date":"2020-07-14T03:00:12","date_gmt":"2020-07-14T01:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/?p=48921"},"modified":"2021-11-18T10:14:41","modified_gmt":"2021-11-18T09:14:41","slug":"research-associate-in-law-in-luxembourg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/research-associate-in-law-in-luxembourg\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Associate in Law in Luxembourg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg has an opening for a\u00a0Research Associate in Law.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/derecho-foto-e1548403353898.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-14151\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/derecho-foto-e1548403353898.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Job description<\/h3>\n<p>Under the direction of Professor Silvia Allegrezza contribute to the deliverables and research goals of the project and may be given the responsibility to coordinate the university\u2019s contributions to the project and act as an interface to other project partners.<\/p>\n<p>The Research Associate is assigned to the Cryptocrime project: \u201cCryptocurrencies and Crime: EU Regulatory Needs and Enforcement Strategy\u201d (CRYPTOCRIME), which examines the possible design of a coordinated supervision and enforcement system to fight against criminal misuse of cryptocurrencies via regulatory and criminal law.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsabilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct desk research on the different topics falling into the scope of the research (cryptocurrencies, blockchains, anti-money laundering, regulatory law, white-collar crimes)<\/li>\n<li>Organise focus groups and interviews with practitioners working in the banking field in selected EU Members States and in the US<\/li>\n<li>Draft comparative analyses and reports on the topics of the research project<\/li>\n<li>Disseminate results through scientific publications, workshops and conferences (organize workshops, seminars and the final conference; edit the publication of the research results)<\/li>\n<li>Offer research assistance and coordinate young researchers working in the same field<\/li>\n<li>Contribute in preparing further research proposals within the research unit of law the University of Luxembourg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<div>\n<div class=\"longtext field-benefits\">\n<ul>\n<li>Have at least a Master diploma in Law.
