Extending the availability of TIPS from euro to other<br \/>\nEuropean currencies is therefore a positive step toward ensuring safe, panEuropean instant payments.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission expects that this agreement will pave the way for solutions facilitating cross-currency instant payments.<\/p>\n<h3>More information<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/sites\/info\/files\/business_economy_euro\/banking_and_finance\/documents\/200403-statement-ecb-eurosystem-sveriges-riksbank_en.pdf\">Press Release.
