In addition to discovering new cultural heritage, you\u2019ll be helping others to find and search for culture by making it more likely to appear in their search results.<\/p>\n<p>Users will be able to add annotations, depending on the type of content, missing metadata, and validate existing annotations in a user-friendly way. The enriched metadata descriptions will affect the searchability and usability of the digital content available and improve user experience.<\/p>\n<p>Campaigns usually stay open for two months. You can contribute now on a campaign to improve information about the fantastic collection of photos from the personal archive of the internationally known Greek opera bass singer Nicola Zaccaria, provided by the Athens Music Library.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the launch of the platform, an event was held the 11th of February\u00a0at the Music Library \u201cLilian Voudouri\u201d at the Athens Music Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Previous campaigns have featured choosing the colours of catwalk fashion, identifying famous composers or identifying sports and European cities in artworks and artefacts.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Project partners<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>National Technical University of Athens, Greece<\/li>\n<li>Europeana Foundation, The Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>Michael Culture, Belgium<\/li>\n<li>Europeana Fashion International Association, Italy<\/li>\n<li>Minist\u00e8re de la Culture, France<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Get involved<\/h3>\n<p>To take part in a crowdsourcing campaign, visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crowdheritage.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"CrowdHeritage.eu (opens in a new tab)\">CrowdHeritage.eu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To get involved in CrowdHeritage, simply\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/crowdheritage.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"make an account a (opens in a new tab)\">make an account a<\/a>nd contribute to the campaigns!
