JM Jazz World sessions begin with a week of rehearsals, followed by a 5-7 day international concert\/festival tour spanning Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project will be under the artistic leadership of Luis Bonilla (USA), a California raised, Costa Rican trombonist, composer and arranger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme is open to\u00a0<strong>musicians between the ages of 18 and 26<\/strong> playing: saxophone, trombone, trumpet, horn, tuba, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, piano and vocals and if you improvise, all other instruments are welcome. It is essential that they read sheet music, but the most important thing is their love for jazz!<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants should complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mubazar.com\/en\/opportunity\/jm-jazz-world-2022\/apply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>application form<\/u><\/a>, attaching the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>a full CV with information about faculty of music, academy and school of music, and experience acquired as a jazz musician;<\/li>\n<li>a written recommendation from a music teacher professor or similar;<\/li>\n<li>a signed statement from either your parents, yourself, university, school or a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jmi.net\/members\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JMI National Member or Associate Section<\/a>, stating that their travel costs to and from the tour\u00a0will be covered;<\/li>\n<li>links to videos with them performing at least 2 different pieces: a theme and an improvisation.
