The awards also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning productions,\u00a0resources, processes and services.\u00a0From 2015 onwards, the MEDEA Awards are supported by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/association.media-and-learning.eu\/portal\">Media &amp; Learning Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Award Categories 2020<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>MEDEA Award for Best Educational Media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This award will be awarded to the best professional or user-generated educational media product, resource, tool or service submitted aimed at learners in the higher education, continuing education and\/or training sector.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Special MEDEA Jury Prize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The judges may, at their discretion, present a special award to an approach or production in recognition of exceptional innovation in pedagogic or technical design.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0How to apply<\/h3>\n<p>Participants can submit up to 8 entries.<br \/>\nAny multimedia material\u00a0must have been created after 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2018.\u00a0Of course, the entry may include or consist of older material.<\/p>\n<p>All finalists will be notified in early April 2020\u00a0and will be invited to take part in the Awards Ceremony taking place during the Media &amp; Learning Conference on the 17-18\u00a0June 2020, in Leuven (Belgium), where the final winners will be announced.<\/p>\n<h3>Dead line<\/h3>\n<p>Entries need to be submitted via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medea-awards.com\/participate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online submission form<\/a>\u00a0and sent to arrive at the MEDEA Awards Secretariat via post, e-mail or fax before the closing date\u00a0<strong>31\u00a0January\u00a02020,<\/strong><strong>\u00a0(midnight) CET<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>More information<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medea-awards.com\/\">MEDEA Awards<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The aim of the MEDEA Awards is to encourage innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education.
