{"id":30586,"date":"2019-12-04T03:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-12-04T02:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/?p=30586"},"modified":"2019-12-03T10:17:45","modified_gmt":"2019-12-03T09:17:45","slug":"amif-2019-support-to-victims-of-trafficking-in-human-beings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/en\/amif-2019-support-to-victims-of-trafficking-in-human-beings\/","title":{"rendered":"AMIF-2019: Support to victims of trafficking in human beings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Based on the 2017 Communication, and on the findings and identified patterns of the European Commission second progress report, which includes information from the member states, relevant EU Agencies, civil society and relevant reports by international organisations, this topic aims at strengthening relevant stakeholders in transnational context with regard to the implementation of the EU Anti-trafficking Directive.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Derechos-Humanos.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14763 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Derechos-Humanos-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Derechos-Humanos-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Derechos-Humanos-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Derechos-Humanos.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate the early identification of third country national victims of trafficking in human beings including in the context of asylum procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance and support to victims of trafficking in human beings, taking into account the specific needs of the victims; these should be appropriate for victims\u2019 age, sex and specific consequences of the form of exploitation they have been subjected to;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the integration of third country national victims of trafficking in the host society, taking into account the individual needs of the victims and in view of finding durable solutions and preventing re-trafficking<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the safe and sustainable voluntary return of third country national victims of trafficking, ensuring appropriate risk assessment and with a view to finding durable solutions and preventing their re-trafficking<\/li>\n<li>Ensure durable solutions for third country national child victims of trafficking and prevent re-trafficking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Actions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Concrete transnational assistance and support measures taking into account the sex and age of the victims and consequences of the form of exploitation they have been subjected to (amongst others: pregnancy, psychological trauma, physical injuries).<\/li>\n<li>Concrete measures directed for the benefit of third country national victims of trafficking, including, amongst others: education, language training, vocational training, apprenticeship programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Initiatives for setting up and improvement of transnational cooperation for the early identification, assistance, support of third country national victims of trafficking in human beings, for their integration, and within the context of their safe and assisted voluntary return.
