Commenting on the cooperation.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em>The Structural Reform Support Service offers tailor-made expertise to all EU countries for the preparation, design and implementation of growth-enhancing reforms. The support is provided on the request of Member States, requires no co-financing and mobilises experts from all over Europe and beyond, from both the public and the private sector.<\/p>\n<h3>SRSS Responsabilities<\/h3>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-department-work-areas-sent field--field-department-work-areas-sent\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/mission-statement-structural-reform-support-service_en\">SRSS<\/a>\u00a0coordinates and provides tailor-made technical support to EU countries, in cooperation with the relevant Commission services.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/funding-opportunities\/funding-programmes\/overview-funding-programmes\/structural-reform-support-programme-srsp_en\">The support is notably provided through the Structural Reform Support Programme (SRSP)<\/a>.\u00a0The objective is to help EU countries build more effective institutions, stronger governance frameworks and efficient public administrations. Such support reinforces the capacity of EU countries to design and implement policies to support job creation and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-department-tasks-desc field--field-department-tasks-desc\">\n<div class=\"field__items\">\n<p>Areas of support include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>governance and public administration<\/li>\n<li>revenue administration and public financial management<\/li>\n<li>rule of law, anti-corruption, anti-money-laundering and anti-fraud activities<\/li>\n<li>investment climate<\/li>\n<li>public assets<\/li>\n<li>energy union and climate issues<\/li>\n<li>education<\/li>\n<li>sectoral policies<\/li>\n<li>health care<\/li>\n<li>labour market issues<\/li>\n<li>financing and access to finance, capital markets union (CMU)<\/li>\n<li>migration and border control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SRSS also coordinates the Commission&#8217;s efforts to support the process led by the United Nations for the reunification of Cyprus.
