The measure is a recognition of the serious situation that the olive oil sector in Spain is going through, with prices below production costs, particularly in the traditional dry land olive grove.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"0\">The announcement takes place after last week&#8217;s meeting between Planas and Hogan, in Brussels.
