The Creative Europe programme aims to support the European audiovisual, cultural and creative sector.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/mercado-\u00fanico-digital-cine.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9223 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/mercado-\u00fanico-digital-cine-300x171.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/mercado-\u00fanico-digital-cine-300x171.png 300w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/mercado-\u00fanico-digital-cine-768x437.png 768w, https:\/\/www.cde.ual.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/mercado-\u00fanico-digital-cine.png 955w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"topicdescriptionkind\">Scope<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Within the field of promoting transnational circulation, one of the priorities of the MEDIA Sub-programme shall be to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support audience development as a means of stimulating interest in and improving access to European audiovisual works in particular through promotion, events, film literacy and festivals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The MEDIA Sub-programme shall provide support for the following measures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support initiatives presenting and promoting a diversity of European audiovisual works;<\/li>\n<li>support activities aiming at increasing knowledge and interest of audiences in European audiovisual works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Action 1 \u2013 Support to Festivals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The result will be the annual support of film festivals which will stimulate interest for European audiovisual works, having as expected results and impact:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To increase the effectiveness and professionalization of festivals in Europe<\/li>\n<li>To increase presentation of European non-national works<\/li>\n<li>To enlarge the audience for European film and in particular non-national films<\/li>\n<li>To increase the circulation of European films<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"topicdescriptionkind\">Expected Impact<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Action 1 &#8211; Support to Festivals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>European audiovisual festivals taking place in countries participating in the MEDIA Sub-programme which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>demonstrate strong efficiency in audience development (especially towards young audiences) by implementing activities before, during or after the event including such as: year-long activities and\/or decentralisation to other cities (with smaller partner festivals nationally and\/or cross-border) and\/or any efficient outreach activities towards non-core film festival audience;<\/li>\n<li>demonstrate a commitment to innovative actions especially in the areas of outreach and audience development using the latest digital technologies and tools such as social media and online activities in order to create a permanent community; amplify innovative approaches beyond expanding their reach (for instance cross-platform programmes etc.);<\/li>\n<li>organise initiatives for film literacy (for example film education) in close cooperation with schools and other institutions throughout the year;<\/li>\n<li>place strong emphasis on European films in general and especially films from countries with a low audiovisual production capacity;<\/li>\n<li>place strong emphasis on non-national European programming and geographic diversity of non-national European programming;<\/li>\n<li>demonstrate interest to further develop collaboration and partnerships with other European film festivals across borders to increase resource efficiency including subtitling\/dubbing, online viewing platforms etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>21 November 2019 17:00 Brussels time<\/p>\n<h3>M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/screen\/opportunities\/topic-details\/crea-festivals-2020;freeTextSearchKeyword=;typeCodes=1;statusCodes=31094502;programCode=null;programDivisionCode=null;focusAreaCode=null;crossCuttingPriorityCode=null;callCode=Default;sortQuery=openingDate;orderBy=desc;onlyTenders=false;topicListKey=topicSearchTablePageState\">Call<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creative Europe is a European Union project for the period 2014-2020.
