Chlorinated paraffins may be released into the environment through product use or improper disposal and therefore may also contaminate food and feed.<\/p>\n<h3>What\u00b4s can you find in the draft<\/h3>\n<p>EFSA&#8217;s Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain (CONTAM) has launched an open consultation on the draft scientific opinion on the risks for animal and human health related to the presence of chlorinated paraffins in feed and food. This document presents an estimation of the human dietary exposure to chlorinated paraffins via the consumption of fish, and an assessment of the human health risks related to this dietary exposure.
