\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is an EU grant for the organisation of Youth dialogue projects:\u00a0meetings, conferences, consultations and events promoting the active participation of young people in democratic life\u00a0and their interaction with decision-makers. Through these events, young people are able to make their voice heard, providing proposals and recommendations, on how youth policies should be shaped and implemented in Europe.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Phases of a Youth Dialogue project<\/h3>\n

– planning and preparation;
\n– implementation of the activities;
\n– evaluation (including reflection on a possible follow-up).<\/p>\n

Activities supported under this action<\/strong><\/h3>\n

– national meetings and transnational\/international seminars offering space for information, debate and active participation of young people, in dialogue with decision-makers,\u00a0on issues relevant to the EU Youth Strategy and its Dialogue mechanisms;
\n– national meetings and transnational seminars that prepare the ground for the official Youth Conferences organised during each semester by the Member State holding the turn of Presidency of the European Union;
\n–\u00a0events promoting debates and information on youth policy themes linked to the activities organised during the European Youth Week;
\n– consultations of young people to find out their needs on matters relating to participation in democratic life (online consultations, opinion polls, etc.);
\n– meetings and seminars, information events or debates between young people and decision-makers, youth experts around the theme of participation in democratic life;
\n– events simulating the functioning of the democratic institutions and the roles of decision-makers within these institutions.<\/p>\n

Young people lead activities: they will be actively involved in all the stages of the project, from preparation to follow-up.
\nHowever, the following activities are not eligible for grants under this action: statutory meetings of organisations or networks of organisations; politically influenced events.<\/p>\n

Eligible participating organisations<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Non-profit organisations, associations, NGOs; European Youth NGOs; public bodies at local level established in a Programme Country or in a Partner Country neighbouring the EU (regions 1 to 4).
\nOrganisations from eligible Partner Countries can only take part in the project as partners (not as applicants).<\/p>\n

Who can apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Any participating organisation established in a\u00a0Programme Country<\/a>:\u00a0Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom,\u00a0The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia and Turkey.<\/p>\n

Number of\u00a0<\/strong>participating<\/strong>\u00a0organisations<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For transnational\/international meetings, the activity must involve at least two participating organisations from at least two different countries, of which at least one is a Programme Country.
\nFor national meetings, the activity must involve one organisation from a Programme Country.<\/p>\n

Eligible participants<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project can last between 3 and 24 months.\u00a0It must involve a minimum of 30 young participants between 13 and 30 years old, from the countries involved in the project.
\nIf the project foresees the participation of decision-makers or experts in the youth policy field, these participants can be involved regardless of their age and geographical provenance.<\/p>\n

\n

FOR BRITISH APPLICANTS<\/strong>:\u00a0Please be aware that eligibility criteria must be complied with for the entire duration of the grant. If the United Kingdom\u00a0<\/em>withdraws<\/em>\u00a0from the European Union during the grant period without concluding an agreement with the European Union ensuring in particular that British applicants continue to be eligible, you will cease to receive EU funding (while continuing, where possible, to participate) or be required to leave the project on the basis of the relevant provisions of the grant agreement on termination. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Venues\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

– National activities: the activity must take place in the country of the applicant organisation.
\n– Transnational\/international activities: the activities may take place in any of the Programme Countries involved in the activity.
\nOnly in duly justified cases and if the main activity includes elements of dialogue with decision-makers at European level, an activity can take place at the seat of an Institution of the European Union<\/p>\n

Grant<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Maximum grant awarded for a Youth Dialogue project: 50 000 Euros.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Deadlines<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Any organisation established in a Programme Country should submit applications to the National Agency\u00a0 by<\/p>\n

–\u00a01st<\/sup>\u00a0October 2019<\/strong>, 12:00 midday\u00a0CET, for projects starting between 1st<\/sup>January and 31st<\/sup>\u00a0May of the following year.<\/p>\n
