At this crucial juncture, marked by the adoption of the new <strong>European Pact on Migration and Asylum<\/strong>, it is essential to analyse both the impact these reforms will have on the protection of human rights and their direct consequences for social and community life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To reflect on and analyse these challenges from a multidisciplinary perspective, on <strong>22 and 23 October 2026<\/strong>, the University of Almer\u00eda will host the <strong> \u2018Conference on the European Pact on Migration and Asylum: Legal and Social Challenges<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n<h3>Organisation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This conference is organised by the Centre for European Documentation and the Vice-Rectorate for Scientific Policy at the University of Almer\u00eda (UAL), the Centre for the Study of Migration and Intercultural Relations (CEMyRI), and the Department of Public International Law at the UAL. It is also supported by the UAL\u2019s Vice-Rectorate for Student Affairs and the EUPROTEGE project (PID-172467NB-100): Situations of Vulnerability in the European Pact on Migration and Asylum.
